easyWind [HDA]
easyWind is a tool to analyse the potential flow of a [CLOSED GEOMETRY].
It utilises the VDB Potential Flow node that “computes how air will flow around obstacles by solving for the closest divergent free velocity field. While this does not create any turbulence, it is effective for allowing particle streams to anticipate collisions and avoid them.” With additional visualisation tools, users are able to easily represent wind flow.

Note: This simulation is a potential flow simulation and does not create any turbulence. The nature of the tool allows for quick and intuitive uses such as, proof of concepts or early design development.
Inputs
◽ Quality This parameter helps calculate the voxel size for the collision. The voxel size is calculated with a base number and the bounding box size of the input geometry. Custom will overwrite the calculation with the set voxel size written.

- Distribute points along the surface of the geometry

- Distribute points in a 3D grid within the geometry
◽Wind Plane Visualisation Visualise a slice of the wind simulation along an axis
- Direction
- Which axis to slice the plane
- Freeflow
- Isolate wind curves at the plane or create a intersecting plane with the volume
- Distance
- Distance between 0-1 along the axis
- Threshold
- Threshold from distance plane

Outputs
◽ Attributes: v, speed Point attribute for speed (float) and velocity (vector)
◽ Out 1: Wind Lines Geometry output of the wind simulation from points, surface or volume
◽ Out 2: Wind Planes Geometry output of a slice of the wind simulation
